Xi congratulates Marxist world symposium in letter

The Communist Party of China stands ready to work with the Marxist political parties in the world to jointly promote the progress of humankind and advance the building of a community with a shared future for mankind, said Xi Jinping, general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, on Thursday.

Xi, also Chinese president, made the remark in a congratulatory letter delivered to the virtual World Symposium for Marxist Political Parties hosted by International Department of the CPC Central Committee.
