Explosion of explosives leaves 3 injured, 9 missing

Three people were hurt and nine people were missing in an explosion caused when a company destroyed expired explosives used for civilian purposes in Chicheng county, Hebei province, on Wednesday.
The company, Anchen Security and Blasting Services, was destroying the explosives for Jingmei Chemical at a mining area owned by Yinda Mining Company when the accident happened, according to the website of the county's government.
Rescue is underway and the injured are receiving treatment, it said.
