Police seize over 21 kg drugs in China's Yunnan

KUNMING -- Police in Southwest China's Yunnan province have busted a drug-trafficking operation, arresting one suspect and seizing more than 21 kg of drugs.

After receiving a tip-off, police in Menghai county under the city of Jinghong dispatched a task force to investigate the case.

On Feb 3, a suspect was arrested in the county, with 31 bags of suspected methamphetamine tablets weighing 21.6 kg seized on the spot.

Further investigation of the case is underway.
