Editor's note: In November, China successfully released 25 milu, a species of deer that enjoys first-class State protection, into the wild in Beijing's Daxing district. The National Forestry and Grassland Administration said there are now 8,000 milu in the country, which means China has basically achieved its goal of restoring the species to its native land.
