Local bond issuances hit $67.3b in Oct
China's local government bond issuances reached 442.9 billion yuan ($67.35 billion) in October, data from the Ministry of Finance showed on Tuesday. With this, the total local government bond issuance so far for the year stood at 6.12 trillion yuan by the end of last month. During the first 10 months, the issuance of new bonds amounted to 4.49 trillion yuan, accounting for 94.9 percent of the 4.73-trillion-yuan quota planned for the year.
Beijing to host major audiovisual event
Latest technologies and industrial achievements from leading forums and exhibitions will be showcased at the first China Beijing International Audiovisual Conference, which will be held in the capital from Thursday to Sunday. The event will be the largest offline exhibition in the industry this year and have 11 professional display sections spread over an area of 20,000 square meters, said Kong Jianhua, deputy head of the Beijing Radio and Television Bureau. Around 30 industrial forums will be held during the event, which will also see participation of over 300 experts and scholars.
