Exhibition honors medical workers
An exhibition featuring the fight against COVID-19 kicked off at First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University in Guangdong province on Thursday.
Hundreds of pictures, videos and objects related to the pandemic demonstrate the selfless dedication and spirit of medical staffs in recent months, said Zhong Nanshan, an academician at the Chinese Academy of Engineering, at the opening ceremony.
"When the country was hit by the COVID-19 pandemic, medical staff workers rushed to the front line to help save patients," said Zhong, a leading Chinese respiratory expert.
The Chinese medical workers put people's lives and health first, he said.
The exhibition, which has been in preparation for more than three months, is designed to tell a mass audience more about the real work and lives of the medical workers, he added.
It also showcases the efforts made by Zhong Nanshan and his team in different aspects, to help the country and the whole world.
