BEIJING -- The Copyright Society of China (CSC) has established a new committee dealing with online-game copyright issues, with the aim of promoting the healthy development of China's game industry.
The online game copyright affairs committee was officially created in Beijing on Sunday, and is dedicated to promoting the use, protection and management of online-game copyrights and tightening self-discipline in the industry.
"It is imperative to set up such an authoritative committee to address the increasing number of copyright issues arising in the sprawling online-game industry," said CSC President Yan Xiaohong.
Companies, institutions and individuals in the online-game copyright field may voluntarily join the committee.
