SARAJEVO -- Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic said he tries to keep fit by practicing every day in an interview on Sunday.

Pjanic, who also plays for the Bosnia and Herzegovina (BIH) national team, said it was very painful to watch the daily reports in Italy on the number of infected and dead.

"But most important of all is that the pandemic is in decline," he emphasized.

During the outbreak, Pjanic kept in touch with the BIH national team through the internet.

"We had several 'meetings' and 'gatherings' to talk about the preparations for the national team."

Pjanic also said he hoped to see the fans at a BIH national team match soon.
