Threatening intruders detained in Guangdong

Five people suspected of entering a residence and threatening the safety of residents inside in Shunde, Guangdong province, were detained early Monday morning, according to local police.
The five are suspected of entering a household on Sunday afternoon in the Junlan community, a development project of Midea Group, a leading home appliance maker in Guangdong.
The property owner, surnamed He, was safe, sources with Foshan police said on Monday.
Midea posted a Weibo message early on Monday expressing thanks for public concern over the incident.
The case is being investigated, the police said.
