Sixty-nine tons of juice from fruits and vegetables produced by Longnan Great Wall Juice Beverage Co. in Gansu province were exported to the United States recently, according to customs officials in Lanzhou.
Thanks in part to its climate advantages, Gansu produce has a low incidence of disease and insect infestation, and farm products from Gansu are favored by consumers at home and abroad, officials say.
Since the beginning of this year, Lanzhou Customs has emphasized providing assistance to fruit and vegetable exporters in the province, guiding them to establish and improve their quality and safety management systems.
