Tibetan official under probe for suspected discipline violations

LHASA -- Tashi Gyatso, deputy secretary general of the government of Southwest China's Tibet autonomous region, is being investigated for suspected severe violations of discipline and law, the regional anti-graft authorities said Monday.
Tashi Gyatso is also a member of the leading Party members' group of the regional government's general office, according to the region's discipline inspection commission and supervisory commission.
