5.2-magnitude quake hits Xinjiang: CENC

BEIJING - A 5.2-magnitude earthquake jolted Kalpin county of Aksu prefecture in Northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, at 11:35 p.m. Saturday Beijing Time, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter was monitored at 40.77 degrees north latitude and 78.76 degrees east longitude, with a depth of 15 km, the CENC said.
