Forty-three redshanks, or sandpipers, were spotted in Qinghuahai National Wetland Park in Baoshan, Yunnan province, recently. The birds spent the winter in southern regions and were flying back to the north. Baoshan is located on their migratory route and the park serves as a resting and feeding stop. With its ever-improving ecological environment, the city is accommodating more and more feathered friends.
