Vlog: Overseas student's trip home lauds work by medics

A vlog recording the journey of a student studying in Germany who returned amid the COVID-19 pandemic to his home in Changsha, capital of Hunan province, went viral online.
"I made the vlog to record the hard work of the medical workers. I also wanted to show my appreciation for the work done by everybody for epidemic prevention and control," said Zeng Zhongtai.
Zeng was very impressed by the medical workers who work hard and are patient with every single job, such as bringing meals, taking temperatures and collecting samples.
When he was informed that a person traveling in the same coach with him was confirmed to have COVID-19, Zeng was worried. But he soon found relief through the considerate efforts of medical workers.
"When the medical workers collected samples, they would explain what the samples would be used for. They also shared materials with us in WeChat on topics such as doing exercises to help us keep fit," said Zeng.
