Nishan MV released: Meet sparks of civilizations in Shandong

Five thousand years ago, humans looked up at the stars beside the glow of their fires. Today, voices from diverse civilizations gather at Nishan. Technology supports our exchanges, yet face-to-face dialogue remains irreplaceable.

The 2026 Nishan Forum on World Civilizations and the China International Confucius Cultural Festival will open on Sept 28 in Qufu, Jining in East China's Shandong province.

Under the theme of "Civilization, Order, and Justice", the forum will explore Confucianism's contemporary value, civilizational resilience, dialogue among cultures, and the role of AI in a harmonious world.

The themed MV, Echoes of Nishan: Civilizations in Dialogue, is released, tracing a 5,000-year journey of civilization from ancient sparks to the cultural legacy of Qufu, hometown of Confucius. This cross-civilization dialogue awaits us all.
