Cities in Shandong province are set to resume inter-city and village passenger bus services starting on Wednesday, as part of the province's effort to restore economic and social development amid the prevention and control of COVID-19, according to the Shandong Department of Transport.
Inter-provincial passenger bus services whose departures and arrivals are in low-risk regions for COVID-19 will also resume gradually.
Measures to prevent the spread of the epidemic apply to passenger bus services. For example, vehicles need to be disinfected frequently and long-distance buses must have at least two drivers.
