Xi attends poverty-relief symposium

BEIJING -- President Xi Jinping Friday attended a symposium on securing a decisive victory in poverty alleviation.
Xi, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, delivered an important speech.
The symposium, convened in the form of teleconference, was presided over by Wang Yang.
