Ivan Markovic joins Iran's Zob Ahan FC

TEHRAN -- Serbian midfielder Ivan Markovic has signed for Iran's Zob Ahan Esfahan FC, the Tehran Times reported.

The 25-year-old is said to have agreed a deal with the Isfahan-based club until the end of the season, but further details of his contract have not been disclosed.

Markovic started his career with the Serbian club Zemun in 2010 and has also played for Bulgarian, Greek and Macedonian clubs.

Zob Ahan hired former Lebanon national team coach Miodrag Radulovic in January as a replacement for Iran's Alireza Mansourian.
