BUENOS AIRES - Leaders River Plate came from behind to secure a 2-1 win at Union Santa Fe in their Argentinian Superliga clash on Sunday.
Walter Bou put the hosts ahead with a diving header early in the second half before Nacho Fernandez nodded in a Matias Suarez cross eight minutes later.
Robert Rojas then put the visitors ahead just after the hour mark by bundling in from close range after Juan Fernando Quintero's corner.
The result meant River retained their three-point advantage over second-placed Boca Juniors at the top of the Superliga standings after 19 rounds.
In other matches on Sunday, Racing Club won 1-0 at home over Independiente and hosts San Lorenzo secured a 1-0 win over Velez Sarsfield.
