Chinese riders win Int'l cycling race in Kunming

KUNMING, China - China's Bai Lijun and Liu Jiankun finished 1-2 in the 110km race of the 2019 Kunming Tour of Dianchi Plateau Cycling Invitational Race here on Saturday.
A total of 20 teams and 112 professional cyclists from home and abroad participated in the event that features five categories.
In the open group for international elite cyclists, Bai and Liu, both representing the Heilongjiang Provincial team, crossed the finish line at the same time - 2 hours 23 minutes 24 seconds, and Bai grabbed the title after a photo finish.
Shi Hang, riding for the Tianjin team, finished third place in 2:24:38.
The event was launched in 2011 and hosted by the Chinese Cycling Association, Yunnan Provincial Sports Bureau and Kunming Municipal Government.
