Fujian offers Taiwan compatriots better employment opportunities in mainland

Taiwan resident Wang Peiqi, who works in Fujian province, was awarded intermediate civil engineer certificate by Pingtan city of the province, on Wednesday.

This certification, which is equal to her technical title obtained in Taiwan, means she can enjoy the same treatment as the employees of mainland, and could facilitate her to career in mainland, said Wang.

Four other Taiwan employees were similarly certified on the same day.

The province has worked out a series of preferential policies to offer Taiwan residents better employment opportunities.
