Coal and gas outburst kills 7 in SW China

GUIYANG – Seven miners were confirmed deaths after a coal and gas explosion occurred at a local coal mine in Southwest China's Guizhou province, local authorities said Sunday.
The Nov 25 accident occurred in the coal mine in Zhijin County, which is under the jurisdiction of the city of Bijie.
Eight miners were trapped after the accident, and one survived.
