Three high-speed railways to link Central China with other cities

BEIJING -- Three high-speed railways linking Central China's Henan province with other cities will start operation Sunday, according to the China State Railway Group Co Ltd.
The high-speed railway network around Henan's capital city of Zhengzhou is expected to boost regional economic growth as it covers a logistics and consumption market with nearly 400 million consumers.
China's railway mileage will top 139,000 km by the end of this year, with 35,000 km being high-speed railways, the largest in the world.
