Xi sends congratulatory letter to first Qingdao Multinationals Summit

BEIJING - Chinese President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory letter to the first Qingdao Multinationals Summit that opened Saturday in Qingdao in East China's Shandong province.
As important participants, witnesses and beneficiaries, multinationals have played positive roles in China's 40-plus years of reform and opening-up, Xi said.
Xi stressed that the door of China's opening-up will only open wider and wider, the business environment will only get better and better, and opportunities for global multinationals will only be more and more.
Global entrepreneurs are welcome to invest in China, strive for mutual benefit and win-win outcomes, and jointly create a better future, Xi said.
The first Qingdao Multinationals Summit is jointly held by the Ministry of Commerce and the Shandong provincial government. Themed "Multinationals and China," the summit will hold closed-door meetings, parallel panels and parallel road shows.
