Chinese president appoints new ambassadors

BEIJING - President Xi Jinping has appointed three new ambassadors in accordance with a decision by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress.
Zhang Zuo was appointed ambassador to North Macedonia, replacing Yin Lixian.
Liang Jianquan was appointed ambassador to Latvia, replacing Huang Yong.
Cong Peiwu was appointed ambassador to Canada, replacing Lu Shaye.
