State Council appoints, removes officials

BEIJING -- The State Council, China's cabinet, announced the appointment and removal of officials Monday.
Chen Jian was appointed deputy auditor general of the National Audit Office (NAO), replacing Sun Baohou.
Chen no longer serves as general auditor of the NAO.
Zhang Hongsen was removed from the post of deputy director of the National Radio and Television Administration, and Yang Shubing will no longer hold the position of deputy director of the State Council Research Office.
Wang Zhaoxing no longer serves as vice chairman of the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission.
