Preparations ramp up for CIIE

Compared with the first CIIE, this year's certificates were issued earlier, Lu said.

At the 30-day countdown to the second CIIE, it is expected that the registration center will issue more than 200,000 pieces of documenatation.

Lu added the second CIIE has carried out work to improve certificate-related services, including streamlining registration procedures, cutting down the number of certificate types, expanding the registration center, strengthening feedback channels and exploring more methods for participants to acquire the certificates.

The second CIIE will take place Nov 5-10 in Shanghai.

More than 3,000 companies from over 150 countries and regions have signed up to participate.
