Changchun school creates 90-meter scroll for Long March anniversary
Changchun Boshuo School in Changchun, Jilin province, recently organized a large-scale painting event to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the victory of the Long March.
A 90-meter-long scroll with a revolutionary theme was created in collaboration with renowned artists from the province, teachers, and students, as well as some parents. The scroll is divided into three sections: Years of Glory, Prosperous Era, and Pursuing Dreams for the Future.
Years of Glory recreates Long March scenes, such as climbing snowy mountains and crossing grasslands, to capture the spirit of those who came before. Prosperous Era illustrates contemporary achievements like poverty alleviation and other national projects to celebrate modern prosperity and interpret the ongoing journey of the Long March. Pursuing Dreams for the Future envisions national rejuvenation from a youth perspective. Together, they connect the past and present to highlight the responsibility of young people to build a stronger country.
"Painting the story of the Long March on paper is significant, but instilling faith in the minds of students is even more crucial," said Chen Fu, Party secretary of the school, emphasizing the need to guide students to embark on their generation's new Long March.
