Media center website to open for China's major anniversary event

BEIJING -- The official website of the media center for the celebration of the 70th founding anniversary of the People's Republic of China will open on Saturday.
The website (http://www.70prc.cn), with both Chinese and English versions, will publish news updates on the celebration and information about press conferences and interviews for Chinese and foreign journalists.
The WeChat and Weibo accounts of the media center will also be launched on Saturday to open more channels for journalists to access services and information offered by the center.
Full services and functions of the media center will be available after it opens on Sept. 23. The website will also be put into full operation at that time.
