"A friend of mine who is a food wholesaler sorted out a batch of expired instant noodles from his warehouse," he said. "I felt it was a pity to throw them away, so I took them home."
There is a living room and a bedroom within the house, which can even accommodate an adult to sleep inside.
Zhang spent four days building the house and hopes it could be a special gift for his incoming newborn.
