BEIJING - Chinese citizens are able to apply for visiting the Supreme People's Procuratorate (SPP) on its open day scheduled on Aug 17, the SPP said Monday.
Citizens aged from 10 to 80 can submit applications at the SPP website and WeChat account from Monday to Friday, an SPP press release said.
The SPP will randomly select 200 people from all applicants and take them to tour the SPP office building, including the history room, the conference room and big data center, and attend lectures given by prosecutors, it said.
Since 2010 the SPP has held 29 open day events, but it is the first time that the public is able to apply for taking part in the event, it said.
