Former rail company executive under investigation

Wang Dongming, former general manager of the China Railway Investment Co, is under disciplinary investigation for suspected serious violations of disciplines and laws, the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection announced on Friday.
Wang, 62, from Suibin, Northeast China's Heilongjiang province, worked for the former Ministry of Railway in various posts starting in 1984.
From December 2007 to January 2016, he worked as the lead coordinator for the leading group office of the Beijing-Shanghai High-speed Railway construction project.
After that, Wang served as the deputy Party secretary and general manager of the China Railway Investment Co till he retired in July 2017.
