Yunnan flower expo draws big crowds

The 20th Kunming International Flower Expo of China, which ran from July 12 to 14, attracted over 400 flower companies from 13 countries including the Netherlands, Israel and Japan.
It has provided platforms for the latest industry trends and promoted exchanges by means of forums, Israel-led activities, an open day for a local flower base and a flower arrangement competition.
Established in 1995, the expo has grown into a major flower industry event in Asia, and showcased over 10,000 new flower species and products, according to the event's official introduction.
It has also included a retail event, aimed to drive market expansion.
