North China seizes 34 kg heroin in drug trafficking case

SHIJIAZHUANG - Public security bureau of the northern Chinese city of Shijiazhuang in Hebei province recently caught 11 suspects in a cross-border drug trafficking case and seized 34.47 kg of heroin.
In April 2018, the police discovered that a man surnamed Hu, from the city of Baoding, was suspected of dealing drugs. The investigation shows that Hu has allegedly organized a drug trafficking gang with its activity scope covering the provinces of Hubei, Yunnan, Shanxi and Jilin, as well as overseas.
After an eight-month-long action, the police caught the 11 suspects who were located in different places. More than 10 million yuan (1.45 million US dollars) was involved in the case.
