Thirteen dead after earthquake in Sichuan province

The 6.0-magnitude earthquake that hit Yibin's Changning county in Sichuan province on Monday has by 6 am Wednesday killed 13 people and injured 199, according to the Ministry of Emergency Management.
Initial estimates said that about 22,000 houses collapsed and nearly 15,900 people had to be evacuated. In total, about 168,000 people were affected by the earthquake.
Relief goods sent by the ministry and the National Food and Strategic Reserves Administration, including tents, beds and quilts, arrived in Changning on Tuesday.
Most power and roads in the earthquake-struck areas have been restored.
The ministry said those injured received treatment immediately, and life in the areas hit by the earthquake is returning to normal.
