Seven die in traffic accident in Northeast China

Seven people are dead and two injured after a traffic accident on Wednesday morning in Liaoyuan city, Northeast China's Jilin province.
The accident occurred at about 5:20 am at the Shoushanzhen intersection of Yantongshan-Liaoyuan highway.
According to Liaoyuan Fabu, the city's official account on Sina Weibo, five died on the spot and another two died on the way to hospital. The two injured are in stable condition and receiving treatment.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
