Coal mine tremor kills 9, injures 10 in Northeast China

A tremor in a coal mine killed 9 and injured 10 others in Northeast China's Jilin province, Changchun New Area announced on Monday morning in its official Weibo account.
Workers were trapped in the shaft after the tremor jolted the coal mine under the management of Jilin Longjiabao Mining Co in Jiutai city on Sunday night.
The injured were receiving treatment in a local hospital.
An investigation has been launched.
