BEIJING -- China's central bank will issue a set of coins on Monday to commemorate the 2019 Beijing International Horticultural Exhibition.

The set includes one gold coin, one silver coin and one platinum coin, all legal currency, the People's Bank of China (PBOC) said on its website.

The front side of each coin features a combination of the expo logo and the Great Wall, along with the country name and year of issuance, the PBOC said.

The 30-gram silver coin and the 3-gram platinum coin, with face values of 10 yuan and 100 yuan, will also have the expo's Chinese name and plant decorations on the reverse sides, but with patterns of the International Pavilion and the expo mascot, respectively.

The expo, open from April 29 to Oct 7, will exhibit flower, fruit and vegetable farming at the foot of the Great Wall in Beijing.
