8 daughters sing 'Happy Birthday' to 88-yr-old mom

An adorable short video in which an 88-year-old mother received birthday blessings from her eight grown daughters in Dalian, Northeast China's Liaoning province, has taken off in popularity online on Friday.
All eight daughters and the mother were dressed nicely in red, a color representing joy and good luck in Chinese culture, and the heroine also had a birthday hat on her head in the short video.
Gathering around their beloved mother, the eight daughters took turns to send their good wishes, hoping she can live an even longer and healthier life, and sang the "Happy Birthday" song at the end.
The video creator was Gong Rutong, the grandson of the lady who celebrated her birthday on March 8. He said that his grandmother actually had nine daughters in total, but the seventh oldest aunt passed away years ago.
"My grandmother has paralysis and lives in the eighth oldest aunt's home now, but the other aunts all want their mother to live with them. The aunts get along very well with each other and often stay together," Gong said.
To date, the video has attracted hundreds of comments, with many of them sending the same wishes as the daughters. One even states, "What is happiness? This is true happiness."
