Regulation on management of officials' personnel files published

BEIJING -- A document regulating the management of officials' personnel files, issued by the General Office of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, has been published by the People's Publishing House.

The booklet is available at Xinhua Bookstore outlets across the country from Tuesday.

It includes both the full text of the regulation and an explanatory statement from the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee.

The document specified departments in charge of personnel files and their content, as well as the rules for regular management, examination and overseeing of officials' personnel files.
