Yi Lianhong elected acting governor of Jiangxi province

NANCHANG -- The local legislature of East China's Jiangxi province appointed Yi Lianhong as vice governor and acting governor of the province at a session on Monday.
Yi, born in 1959, is a native of Hunan province. He worked in the provincial governments of Hunan and Liaoning before serving as Jiangxi's vice Party chief in July this year.
The session accepted the resignation of Liu Qi, who became governor of Jiangxi in September 2016.
