Woman living lavish life sentenced for not repaying debt

A woman who was in debt but still lived an extravagant lifestyle was caught and sentenced to a prison term of 15 months recently.
The woman, a garment factory boss from Wuhan of Hubei province whose surname is Zhu, owed 30 million yuan to another company. After a court ruled she should return the money early last year, she disappeared.
Police finally caught her in Shenzhen in July 2017. She told police that she had no money and earned only 3,000 yuan a month.
However, her social media account betrayed her, which included photos of her on a yacht and on other tourist trips. Police also found she used others' ID cards to buy high-speed train tickets and get bank cards for high-level consumption, such as plastic surgeries.
A court in Wuhan sentenced her to prison for 15 months in April 2018. She filed an appeal to a higher court later, but withdrew the appeal recently.
