World's top 10 largest tech companies

Apple has retained its crown again as the largest tech company in the world, followed by Samsung and Microsoft, according to the latest Forbes Global 2000 list.

Seven of the largest tech companies in 2018 came from the United States, down one from last year. Tencent Holdings and Hon Hai Precision Industry were the two Chinese tech companies that broke into the top 10.

Tech companies account for 130 spots on Forbes Global 2000, an annual ranking of the world's largest public companies based on a composite score from equally weighted measures of revenue, profits, assets and market value.
