Top US diplomat to meet senior DPRK official -White House

WASHINGTON- A top DPRK official, Kim Yong Chol, will meet with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo this week during a visit to the United States, a White House spokeswoman said on Tuesday, before a planned summit between the American and North Korean leaders.

In addition, US President Donald Trump will meet with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on June 7 at the White House, the spokeswoman, Sarah Sanders, said in a statement.
