China's 4G network users in 2017 totaled nearly a billion, accounting for 70 percent of mobile phone users in the country.

Fixed-line broadband networks covered 349 million households by the end of 2017, and more than 93.77 million rural households were connected with broadband networks.

Starting July 1, the cost of mobile internet services and household broadband will be cut by 30 percent.
