The official licensed products of the Beijing Winter Olympic Games have been out of stock several times online during their retail pilot run, although the games will open in four years and the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympic Games have not yet started, Thepaper.cn reported. Gold bars, stamps and badges are the most popular products of all.
A series of products for the Beijing 2022 Olympic Games have been available for purchase on the official website since Dec 16, 2017. The Beijing Organizing Committee for the 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games is using a new sales strategy combining online stores with retail locations.
