The story of a ballet ensemble in Zhengzhou consisting of middle-aged women went viral recently, as the dancers proved a demanding art form is not necessarily for the young, but the young at heart.
It is widely believed that only those dancers who have received professional training can perform ballet, and middle-aged women are supposed to dance in plaza parks with the music to tunes such as Little Apple or The Coolest Ethnic Trend. However, these women, whose average age is 55 and whose oldest member is 62, use their talent to prove that it is never too late to do anything.
