Harbin gets creative with ice and snow

On Wednesday, a campus ice and snow festival kicked off at Harbin Institute of Technology in Harbin, Heilongjiang province.
At the large campus, ice sculptures can be found everywhere, attracting many tourists even in the extreme cold.
Visitors also enjoyed traditional games such as guessing lantern riddles and a 62-meter ice slide. These diversions attracted many children.
Along a street, visitors can buy and enjoy various delicious snacks.
“It’s really a wonderful night,” one student said. “The colorful lights make me feel the Spring Festival is coming.”
