Zhengzhou Railway Station, with a history of over a century, is considered the heart of China's railway network. This year, a project was started to change the old wooden railway ties in the station. Over a thousand workers have engaged in the project for 33 days. The project successfully ended on Nov 11, when the first high-speed train passed through the station since the project began. This project is the longest and most difficult one in China's railway history. After changing the wooden railway ties, the station's running capacity will be improved and passengers will have a better experience in the station.
