BEIJING - An earthquake measuring 6.6 on the Richter scale jolted northern Sumatra, Indonesia at 1:55 am Beijing Time Tuesday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.
The epicenter, with a depth of 110 km, was initially determined to be at 3.0 degrees north latitude and 97.9 degrees east longitude.
